Anybody who wishes to be considered as the BCSOA Director for their region must submit their name to the Nomination Committee before Aug 31, 2000. Remember that there is one Director for each region, except for the Lower Mainland, where there are 3 Directors. Once the Nomination Committee has received all the names, each Region will be asked to vote on their choice of Director for their region via the mail. If further clarification is required either contact Paul Jenkins or Ken Robertson. You can either submit your own name if you wish to run (must be at least a Level 111), or someone can nominate a BCSOA member from their Region who they think would be a good choice. NOTE.. Anyone nominating another person must ensure that that person is prepared to accept the nomination. Also only BCSOA Members may be considered for a Director, and only BCSOA Members can vote for their choice of Director. Nominations cannot be accepted from the floor.
